Parent Portal
Within the last few weeks, each family in the district received a very informative, fairly large information packet with instructions for accessing and using the student records information system here at school. By accessing this system, parents can check students attendance, classroom activities, disciplinary record and lunch account balance. Parents of older students also have access to grades and assignments. This is a very valuable tool to help parents help their students to be successful at school, and to keep parents informed. *This is a secure sight, and the information packet sent home has login information and passwords specific to parent and student. Although the packet may appear to be a bit overwhelming, it's simply because step-by-step instructions with pictures were included to aid parents in the initial set-up. The program itself -LUMEN - is very user friendly and parents who have accessed are really enjoying the convenience of checking student status from home! So if you haven't yet logged on, please set aside a little time and visit your parent portal - you'll be pleasantly surprised and glad you did!
