Spring Break
Spring Break for Genesee Schools will is next week, April 5th through the 9th. Classes will dismiss at the regular time of 3:15 on Friday, April 2nd, and classes will resume on Monday morning, April 12th at 8:25 a.m. We hope everyone has a safe, fun and relaxing break!

Campus On The Run Results
Congratulations to everyone who ran the Campus on the Run fun run held over the weekend! All Genesee competitors completed the race! (Miss A,Lacey, Nikki, April, Rachel, Kylie, Thomas, Justin, Payton, Courtney, April, Camille, Amanda, and Kendell). The Genesee team won the "Most Creative" award, and Justin won first in his division!
JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Jr. High Girls Basketball teams who enjoyed good action against Potlatch here at home last night. The B team won but the A team fell just short of a win. Good effort Lady Bulldogs!!
2.) Good Luck to the Jr. High Boys Basketball teams who will meet Potlatch on the court here at home beginning at 5:30 this evening. Go Dawgs!!
3.) No Jr. High Girls Basketball practice today. Coach Gartner is ill. Please remember Jr. High Basketball pictures tomorrow at 3:30 in the gym!
4.) High School Spring Sports Pictures will be taken today right after school. Please remember your picture packets and be dressed and ready for photos by 3:30. If weather permits, pictures will be taken at the field, if not then we will announce a location at the end of the day.
5.) FFA Members please bring all raffle tickets to Mr. Morrow by this Friday. The drawing for prizes will be Monday April 5th. This will be over spring break so you need to bring the tickets in by THIS FRIDAY. *Floriculture and horse judging this week at lunch in the ag shop, bring your lunch with you. Ag Sales Practice event will be Monday April 5th at 7 pm.
6.) High School Choir will meet on Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30pm. See you all there!
7.) Jr. High Students: Shotgun Sports/Clay Target Shooting opportunity. The Genesee Sportsmens Association & Genesee Recreation District are sponsoring a 3 hour class to familiarize & instruct students in clay target sports. The event is FREE to Jr. High Students who attend Genesee School District. Everything will be provided, including shotguns. You only need to bring your desire to learn. *A parent or guardian does need to attend with the student. The event will take place on Saturday, April 10th from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the GHS Football Field. Space is limited to 16 students, and the sign-up deadline is Thursday, April 8th. To sign-up or for addition information please call Jay Roach at 285-1636.

REMINDER: The Elementary After School Study Hall is a program for students to work on class assignments and homework. Once the work is complete, students are excused to go home. There are no “activities” for students to be involved in, as this is NOT an after school child care program. Thank you.
