University of Idaho Jazz Concert


Genesee Junior High and High School Jazz Musicians and the Genesee Elementary Singers will perform next Monday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lionel Hampton School of Music on the University of Idaho Campus for the U of I Jazz Experience Concert. Three buses will transport musicians, equipment and community members and will leave the school at 6:00 p.m.


Bulldog Bingo


Bulldog Bingo: Saturday, March 15 in the Genesee School Multipurpose Room!   Dinner @ 5:30 p.m. ($5/Adults, $3/K-12, $15 max family cost) and Bingo starts @ 6:15 p.m.  ( $5 per card).  There will also be raffle items ($1 per ticket).  Support the local food bank, too! For every can of food brought, one ticket will be given for drawings of some fun door prizes! Sponsored by Genesee PTO.


Enchiladas For Sale


Virginia Monk is once again selling enchiladas for her Citizenship Washington Focus 4-H project. Orders must be in by March 9.  She will be making them March 15 and delivering that weekend. Due to increasing food and supply costs, the prices have been raised to $20 for a large tray, and $15 for a small tray. Chicken and beef flavors are both still available.  Please give Virginia your orders or email them to her at kmonk@pea-lentil.com


Jr. High/High School News


Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team on their win over Troy in the District Tournament last night. The Boys team now faces Lakeside of Plummer tomorrow night at St. Maries High School at 6:00. With a win tomorrow night, the team would earn a trip to the State Basketball Tournament next week.  Good luck Bulldogs!

FFA Officer meeting at lunch today. This is a mandatory meeting. bring your lunch or go get lunch and meet in the Ag Shop at 12:05: Tyler, Cierra, Cassidy, Lance, MaryKate, Mattie, and Rhett.

PRIDE Assembly will be today at 2:45.

Jr. High/High School News


Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team who qualified for the State Tournament with a win over Lakeside Saturday night.  The girls will now play tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 (local time) against Rimrock at Columbia High School in Nampa. Pep Assembly send off for the girls will be at 9:45 this morning in the Gym.

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team who defeated CV last night in District Tournament play. The boys will next play Prairie Monday, February 24 at 6:00 at LCSC.

Junior High Boys basketball practice begins at 3:30 p.m. today.  Make sure all forms are complete and turned in to Coach Crowley before practice begins.  Also, there will be a practice on Friday morning from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Jr. High/High School News 


Happy Birthday yesterday to Taylor who turned 18, Sammy who turned 17 and Zach F. who turned 13! We hope you had a great day!

Student interested in participating in track please plan to meet during Activity Period today in the multipurpose room.

Good luck to the Boys Basketball teams who travel to Lapwai for games beginning at 6:00 tonight.

There are treats in Mrs. Tilleman's room for the Boys and Girls Basketball teams.

Good luck to the Girls Basketball team as they begin District tournament play tomorrow night at LCSC at 8:00 against the winner of the Troy/Kamiah game being played tonight.

February 7 there will be JH Basketball meetings during Activity Period. The girls will meet in Mr. Hanson's classroom and the boys will meet in Mr. Crowley's classroom.


Senior Slideshow is needing photos. An email has been sent to parents with information. The sooner we get the pictures the better. Thanks!

Happy 17th Birthday Trent!

Great effort by the Girls JV Basketball team who lost to Colton in a very close game last night.

Good luck to the Boys Basketball teams who travel to Troy for games beginning at 6:00 tonight.

There are treats in Mrs. Tilleman's room for the Boys Basketball team.

BPA State Qualifiers: Today is the last day to tell Mr. Crowley if YOU ARE NOT going to state BPA 3/6-3/8.  The cost is going to end up being between $60 and $80 per person, depending on how much fundraising you have done.  See me today or you are committed!

Activity Period Thursday for students interested in track, please meet in the multipurpose room.
