District Wide News:

4-day week, no school on Friday November 2nd for conferences.

5-day week next week

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

PTO will be providing childcare again this year for children during scheduled conference times on Thursday Nov 1st, from 4 to 8pm, and Friday morning Nov 2nd, from 8-noon. The Genesee School Library will also be open on Thursday evening for school aged children only. There will be puzzles and other activities for students to participate in.

After School Study Hall:
**Please remember this program is to help students be successful in completing homework and getting extra help with school work. This program is not intended to be used as daycare, if you are expecting your student to remain for the duration of the program he/she needs to have a book to read or work to be completed quietly. If your student has finished all work and has nothing to work on he/she will be allowed to sign out of the program. Please ensure you are able to make arrangements to pick up your student or have him/her walk home.

Junior High and High School News:

Give Back Day is coming up on November 1st, please call the High School Office if you need help with yard work!

There will be informational Varnish Club Volleyball meeting for the U12 and U14 age groups in Mr. Crowley's classroom on November 7th. U12 players/parents will meet at 5:30 pm and U14 will meet at 6:00 pm. Please email pcrowley@sd282.org with any questions.

Genesee Elementary will hold the first box top collection TODAY!! There is a drop box in the office, or send them to your favorite Elementary Classroom to support the competition between classes. Counting will be done after school today in the library.
