Bulletin 3/21/2019


District Wide News:

4-day week this week, no school on Friday March 22nd.

Spring Break is next week, no school March 25th through March 29th.

The Genesee City Library is hosting a water color class on Saturday April 20th from 1:00 to 4:00. Pre-Registration is requested by April 11th. Ages 4th grade and up.

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

SAVE THE DATE: Missoula Children’s Theater will be here April 1st through 6th. Auditions will be after school on April 1st at 3:30 in the MPR.  The performances will be Friday, April 5th at 7:00 pm and Saturday April 6th at 11:00 am in the MPR. The production will be Blackbeard the Pirate.

Genesee schools will be hosting a Hunter Education Course Monday April 8th through Friday April 12 (daily from 5:30 to 8:30). There will also be a required field day on Sunday April 14th from 8:00-3:00. Registration is required and space is limited, visit idfg.idaho.gov to register online. For more information or questions, you can reach the IDFG instructor Bill Seybold at 208-285-0206 or 208-790-6965.

Elementary Yearbook is available for purchase! Cost is 15.00 please visit www.treering.com/validate our school’s passcode is 1014208275471925. The deadline is April 17th for custom pages.

After School Study Hall:
**Please remember this program is to help students be successful in completing homework and to get extra help when needed. This program is not intended to be used as daycare, if you are expecting your student to remain for the duration of the program he/she needs to have a book to read or work to be completed quietly. If your student has finished all work and has nothing to work on he/she will be allowed to sign out of the program. Please ensure you are able to make arrangements to pick up your student or have him/her walk home.

Genesee’s Distinguished Young Women program is this Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. Cost is 10.00 for adults and 5.00 for students.

Drivers Education sign up is in the office. You must be 14 ½ by May 1st, please see Carly to get signed up. Deadline for signing up is this Thursday March 21st.

Safe and Sober tickets are on sale now, 10.00/ticket. See a Senior or their parent(s) to purchase and support the Safe and Sober Graduation Program!
