District Wide News:

Full 5-day week this week!

No School Friday October 6th

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

Thursday October 26th will be the first box top count for elementary classes! There is a drop box in the main office if you don’t have a student in grade school and would like to donate your box tops!

After School Study Hall:
Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Grades K-2:

Junior High and High School News:

Middle school hang out night is TONIGHT from 5:30 -10:00pm in the MPR. Pizza and Costumes! Cost is 15$ per student. Please see Mrs. Smith for sign-up/permission forms.    

Volleyball, Dig Pink shirt order forms are in the office! Cost is 20.00, Shirts will be light pink (S-XXL). Forms must be turned in to the office no later than October 5th! ALSO the Dig Pink coin drive starts Monday October 2nd and ends the day of the Dig Pink game (October 10th).

Coin Drive Rules:
· Class vs. Class
· Change is to be collected for the Dig 4 Pink Volleyball Game
· Each class has their own jar
· Jar must stay on Class Advisor’s desk during school hours
· NO HIDING
· Pennies: -1 in other classes’ jar
· Nickel: +5 to your class
· Dime: +10 to your class
· Quarter: +25 to your class
· $1.00: +100 to your class
* Class who wears the most pink Thursday the 1st gets 300 bonus points!

The Big Kettle Cook Off is on!
Get a team together to compete or just come and enjoy the food!  It will be Friday, October 13th at the home football game against Lapwai.  Food will be served from 6:15-7:30 or until the food is gone.  Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  The price includes all you can eat soups, a water and a dessert.  All proceeds go to the Genesee Education Association Scholarship fund.  We hope to see you there.

Genesee Athletes participating with Moscow Cross Country- Sandpoint Invitational at Travers Park in Sandpoint.

**General Directions:
Take exit #60 off I-90 and go Left underneath I-90. Take a left on Yellowstone Ave and proceed directly to the field complex (about 4 blocks).​  FYI The field is located WEST of Wallace, so if you get to the Wallace exit you've gone too far. 

For Bus and Handicap Parking Take exit #60 off I-90 and go Left underneath I-90. Take a left on Yellowstone Ave and proceed 2 blocks, then take a right on Sather Field RD. The road will wind around for a little bit and then come right up to field level. They will show where to park the bus and there is plenty of room for handicap parking.
