For the DYW state program in October, Kamri Sams along with 34 others are collecting shoes for Shoes for Love. Shoes for Love is organized by Dando Amor along with partnering photographers and studios around the country. Over 680 million shoes are thrown away in America each year. Your unwanted shoes can help to change the lives of orphaned children around the world. So, please help Kamri reach her goal of 1,000 pair of shoes!!! Bring Shoes of any size, shape or condition (shoes beyond repair are melted down and recycled for money). Collection Box located at school office.
The annual Genesee Bulldog Booster Club Membership Drive and Barbecue will be held at the first home football game September 6. The BBQ will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the game against Deary starting at 7:00 p.m. Membership dues are $40.00 again this year, and will get you dinner for the night, your name entered into a drawing for a "Bulldog Spirit Basket" and your name in our high school foyer as being a Genesee Bulldog Booster Club member! In addition, we will also have a table set up for your Booster clothing where you will be able to purchase new clothing items that will be for sale this school year, along with some fun new school spirit items, stadium chairs, and sale items from last year's clothing. We will also be taking pre-paid orders for new items to show your BULLDOG SPIRIT AND PRIDE! Please come out and join in on the fun- filled BULLDOG FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!
