Good luck to the JV Football team who take on Lapwai at home tonight beginning at 6:00. The game will only be two quarters of play.

ASB Meeting (ASB Officers, Class Presidents and Class Representatives) today at 12:10 in Mr. Chamber's Classroom to finalize plans for Homecoming.

Congratulations to the Volleyball teams on their wins last night against CV and Kamiah.

Good luck to the Football team tonight as they take on Troy at home beginning at 7:00.

All Football players meet in Mr. Hanson's room after school today.

There are treats in Mr. Hanson's room for the Football players.

Classes will meet today during Activity Period in Advisor's Classrooms to discuss homecoming plans. There will be an ASB meeting (ASB Officers, Class Presidents and Class Representatives) Monday at 12:10 in Mr. Chamber's Classroom to finalize Homecoming plans.

 The Big Kettle Cook Off is on! Please join us tonight at the home football game against Troy.  Food will be served from 6:15-7:30 or until the food is gone.  Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  The price includes all you can eat soups, a water and a dessert.  All proceeds go to the Genesee Education Association Scholarship fund.  We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the JH Football team on their win over Deary last night.

Good luck to the Volleyball teams who travel to Clearwater Valley and Kamiah for games today. The CV games begin at 4:00 followed by the Kamiah games at 6:00.

The Volleyball bus will leave at 1:15 instead of 12:45 today. Please release VB players and managers at 1:00.

Becky will be available to tape Volleyball players at 1:00.

 The Big Kettle Cook Off is on! It will be tomorrow at the home football game against Troy.  Food will be served from 6:15-7:30 or until the food is gone.  Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  The price includes all you can eat soups, a water and a dessert.  All proceeds go to the Genesee Education Association Scholarship fund.  We hope to see you there!

Good effort by the JV Football team who played well, but lost to Troy last night.

Good luck to the Volleyball teams who host Colfax at home tonight with the C team beginning at 5:00. JV will play at 6:00 and Varsity will follow.

Good luck to the Volleyball teams who host Prairie and Potlatch in a tri match tonight. Genesee Varsity will begin play at 5:00 against Prairie in the main gym, followed by Potlatch vs. Prairie and Genesee vs. Potlatch. Genesee JV action will begin at 5:30 against Prairie in the auxiliary gym followed by Potlatch vs. Prairie and Genesee vs. Potlatch.

Jr. High/High School News  


The Varsity and JV Volleyball teams have team dinner tonight in the multi purpose room after practice. Also, don't forget to be thinking about Dig Pink Baskets which are due Sunday, September 29.

The 2013 Yearbooks are here! And the annual Yearbook Signing Party is tonight.  The doors to the Multi will open at 7:00 p.m. and close around 8:30. Come by, have a soda, and sign or have your friends sign your copy of the 2013 yearbook. We charge $3 at the door to cover our costs and to help keep the price of the Genesee Yearbook as low as we can.  See you there!
*If you are unable to attend the party, yearbooks will be available Monday, September 23 in Mr. Barham's room.
**We also need more volunteers to help with setting up, selecting music, and putting everything away for the night. See Mr. Barham to sign up.

 The Big Kettle Cook Off is on! Get a team together to compete or just come and enjoy the food!  It will be Friday, September 27 at the home football game against Troy.  Food will be served from 6:15-7:30 or until the food is gone.  Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  The price includes all you can eat soups, a water and a dessert.  All proceeds go to the Genesee Education Association Scholarship fund.  We hope to see you there!

There will be a Spanish Club meeting in the Spanish classroom tonight at 6:30 p.m. We will look at photos and share stories from the Cost Rica trip and have snacks.

Congratulations to the JH Football team who defeated Potlatch last Thursday night.

Great job to the HS football team who played well, but were defeated by Prairie on Friday night.

Bulldog Booster Club Membership Drive


The annual Genesee Bulldog Booster Club Membership Drive and Barbecue will be held at the first home football game TONIGHT.  The BBQ will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Varsity game against Deary starting at 7:00 p.m.  Membership dues are $40.00 again this year, and will get you dinner for the night, your name entered into a drawing for a "Bulldog Spirit Basket" and your name in our high school foyer as being a Genesee Bulldog Booster Club member!  In addition, we will also have a table set up for your Booster clothing where you will be able to purchase new clothing items that will be for sale this school year, along with some fun new school spirit items, stadium chairs, and sale items from last year's clothing. We will also be taking pre-paid orders for new items to show your BULLDOG SPIRIT AND PRIDE!  Please come out and join in on the fun- filled BULLDOG FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS! 


Concessions Opportunity


Anyone interested in working in the concession stand for the JV Volleyball tournament tomorrow, please talk to Mr. Caldwell today. It would be a great money making opportunity! 


School Picture Day 


School pictures will be taken next Tuesday, September 10. Picture packets will be sent home with students this week. 


Elementary After School Study Hall


Study Hall will begin September 16 and will be held Monday through Thursday from 3:15-4:15


Jr. High/High School News 



Congratulations to the Varsity VB team who defeated Troy at home last night. Great effort by the C team and JV who played well, but were defeated.

Congratulations to the JH Football team who defeated Troy at home last night.

Good luck to the Varsity and JV Football teams who play at home tonight against Deary. The JV will play at 6:00 followed by the Varsity game at 7:00.

There are treats in Mr. Hanson's room for the Football team.

FFA Football Concessions tonight- sign up in the Ag Shop. Fair pre-excused forms need to be turned in by Monday. September FFA meeting next Wednesday at the fair sale barn at 7:00 p.m.

Good luck to the Varsity Volleyball team who travel to Lewiston tomorrow for a tournament beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Good luck to the JV Volleyball team who will play in a tournament at home tomorrow beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Please be on the lookout for a couple of missing I-pods and turn them in to the office if found.
