District Wide News:

Full 5-day week this week!

Genesee Bulldog clothing is now available online at www.companycasuals.com/geneseebulldogs.  Youth sizes are also available.  The online store will be open through September 22.  It will open again for basketball and Christmas shopping in November.  Please contact Erika Odenborg, 208-596-5979, with questions.

School picture retake day is the 28th. There are extra packets in the office. Junior High Sports will also be that day.

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

After School Study Hall:
Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Grades K-2:

Monday - Tourist Day - Dress up in your finest travel/tourist attire.

Tuesday- Decade Day- Each class has a decade in which they are dressing like.                    Srs-80’s   Jrs-50’s   Soph-70’s   Frosh-60’s  JH-90’s

Wednesday-America or ‘Merica- show your patriotism respectfully

Thursday- Wild Card class day-each class has a theme for their class this day.
Srs-Everything Western, Jrs-dress like a teacher, Soph-Celebrities, 9th-Twins,
JH-Disney characters
Thursday 9/21 FB Team Dinner

Friday- Blue & Gold Day- FB Players in jerseys, VB player in jersey tops, both HS and JH students. Cheer squad in uniforms and everyone else in bulldog blue, gold and white! Homecoming Pep Rally!

Homecoming Dance: Saturday, September 23rd from 9pm-12pm. Cost is $5 per person  in the GHS Commons.

Out of Town Guests:  1 out of town guest per person. You are responsible for your guest and their behavior. A sign-up sheet is in the office window. All guests must be signed up by 4pm Thursday.

The Big Kettle Cook Off is on!
Get a team together to compete or just come and enjoy the food!  It will be Friday, October 13th at the home football game against Lapwai.  Food will be served from 6:15-7:30 or until the food is gone.  Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.  The price includes all you can eat soups, a water and a dessert.  All proceeds go to the Genesee Education Association Scholarship fund.  We hope to see you there.
