**Please remember this program is to help students be successful in
completing homework and getting extra help with school work. This program is
not intended to be used as daycare, if you are expecting your student to remain
for the duration of the program he/she needs to have a book to read or work to
be completed quietly. If your student has finished all work and has nothing to
work on he/she will be allowed to sign out of the program. Please ensure you
are able to make arrangements to pick up your student or have him/her walk home.

High and High School News:
Juniors
& Seniors: Your LCSC dual credit registration
forms are due back to Mr. Scripter by 4:00pm this Wednesday, October 3rd. After Wednesday you will
have to get the form to LCSC on your own.
PSAT
Registration: Juniors: If you wish to take the PSAT next Wednesday,
October 10th, you must first register at the high school office by paying
the $16 test fee to Carly. Deadline to register is 12:30pm
on Tuesday, October 9th. Utilize the free practice materials on https://www.khanacademy.org/ or
stop by Mr. Scripter's office to pick up a free PSAT study guide and practice
test.
Sophomores:
You do not need to register since your testing fee is paid for by the State
Department of Education. If a sophomore and their parents do not wish to
have the student participate in the PSAT, you must turn in a completed PSAT Opt
Out form signed by a parent by Tuesday next week. Opt Out forms were
e-mailed to parents or can be picked up from Mr. Scripter.

The Big Kettle Cook
Off is on! Get a team together to compete or just
come and enjoy the food! It will be Friday,
October 12th at the home football game against Potlatch. Food will be
served from 6:15-7:30 or until the food is gone. Prices are $5 for adults
and $3 for children 12 and under. The price includes all you can eat
soups, a water and a dessert. All proceeds go to the Genesee Education
Association Scholarship fund. We hope to see you there.
