GEOGRAPHY BEE WINNER


Congratulations to Anna Sobczyk who qualified for the National Geographic Geography Bee. She will go to Boise on April 9th and take the test to determine qualification for Nationals! Good work Anna!

PTO Meeting


The next Genesee Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting will be held on Thursday, March 18th at 7:00pm in the multipurpose room. We would like to remind all parents of students and teachers that they are welcome to participate. We would love to have you join us and share your ideas.

Campus on the Run

JR/SR High School News


1.) Congratulations to the Jr. High Girls Basketball Teams who claimed victories over Kendrick here at home last night. Nice job ladies!!

2.) SOPHOMORES: Guess what? $18 now if you haven't yet paid for the basket.

3.) SENIORS: Local scholarship applications are now available on Mr. Scripter's Guidance web page at http://www.sd282.org/guidance/ Click on the link "Local Scholarships for Genesee Graduating Seniors". All applications and other required documents are due in to Mr. Scripter by 3:30pm on Friday, April 16th. Contact Mr. Scripter if you have any questions about these scholarship applications.

4.) JUNIOR GUYS: If you are hoping to attend BOYS STATE, a reminder that forms and applications are due on Monday, March 15th.

REMINDER: The Elementary After School Study Hall is a program for students to work on class assignments and homework. Once the work is complete, students are excused to go home. There are no “activities” for students to be involved in, as this is NOT an after school child care program. Thank you.
