PTO Volunteers Needed!

PTO is looking for high school students willing to volunteer for child care during parent teacher conferences.  We are hoping to have students volunteer on Thursday, November 5th from 4-7:00 p.m.  If interested, please talk to Mrs. Moore.

Youth Volleyball Opportunities in Genesee

The Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club here in Genesee would like 3-8 grade girls and parents to know that we are planning to have both a U12 (for girls in 5-6 grades) and a U14 (for girls in junior high) club volleyball team this coming spring. We will also be hosting youth clinics for younger players this winter.
Varnish Juniors Meeting Announcement:
There will be an informational meeting for the Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club on 11/8 at 4 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. This is for females in grades 5-8. Please contact Mr. Crowley (pcrowley@sd282.org) with any questions and for more information.


Jr. High/High School News

 

ALL OF THE 7-12 GRADERS

Will travel to Troy tomorrow (Oct 22) for a Red Ribbon Week Assembly.  Bus will leave at 8:05 a.m. and return around 11:00a.m.  Students should check in to their first hour class!


Sports This Week
Thursday, Oct 22:  Good Luck to Kyle and Marcus who travel to Athol, Idaho to run at Farragut State Park.  This is the Regional Cross Country Meet which may qualify them for state next week!!

Thursday, Oct 22:  Genesee Volleyball will travel to Wallace to play-in on Thursday at 5:00. The winner of the Genesee/Wallace match will play in the state play-in on Saturday, Oct 24 at Highland HS!  Go Bulldogs!!
       
Thursday, Oct 22: JH Football travels  to Kendrick at 5:30p.m. Bus leaving at 4:15p.m.

Girls Basketball meeting Friday, Oct 23 at 3:05p.m. in gym foyer.  Coach McIntosh and Coach Heath will be there to meet each of you.
