PTO Volunteers Needed!

PTO is looking for high school students willing to volunteer for child care during parent teacher conferences.  We are hoping to have students volunteer on Thursday, November 5th from 4-7:00 p.m.  If interested, please talk to Mrs. Moore.

Youth Volleyball Opportunities in Genesee

The Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club here in Genesee would like 3-8 grade girls and parents to know that we are planning to have both a U12 (for girls in 5-6 grades) and a U14 (for girls in junior high) club volleyball team this coming spring. We will also be hosting youth clinics for younger players this winter.
Varnish Juniors Meeting Announcement:
There will be an informational meeting for the Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club on 11/8 at 4 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. This is for females in grades 5-8. Please contact Mr. Crowley (pcrowley@sd282.org) with any questions and for more information.

8th Grade Drama Performance:  Wednesday, Oct 28 Performance starts at 7:00p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room!


Sports This Week

There will be a Send – Off on Thursday at 3:05p.m. in front of the school.  If it’s raining we will be in the gym.  The Send – Off is for the Volleyball and Football Teams heading to State Playoffs and State Tournament.  Everyone is Welcome to Attend!!

Congratulations to The Genesee Volleyball Team who secured a birth to the State Tournament over the weekend!!

Monday, Oct 26 JH Volleyball at Kendrick.  Game starts at 5:30p.m. and Bus leaves at 4:15p.m.

Tuesday, Oct 27 JH Volleyball takes on Deary. Game starts at 5:00p.m.
