Youth Volleyball
Opportunities in Genesee
The Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club here in Genesee
would like 3-8 grade girls and parents to know that we are planning to have
both a U12 (for girls in 5-6 grades) and a U14 (for girls in junior high) club
volleyball team this coming spring. We will also be hosting youth clinics for
younger players this winter. Informational and planning meetings will take
place in early November, so be on the look out for more information. In the
meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Pete
Crowley, pcrowley@sd282.org.
**Let Everyone Play
Day**
October 17 (Saturday) at 11:00: Rachel
Bechtel has organized Let Everyone Play Day, a community-wide baseball game for
people of all ages and abilities at Bear Field in Moscow. Last year many of the
players were confined to wheelchairs and the Moscow baseball team participated.
This year our school has been invited to participate. Everyone is invited to
play or be a spectator and there will be two games with a free barbecue in
between. Mrs. Bardwell will drive the white bus up if someone needs transportation.
