8.) STUDENT ID CARDS: Monday, Jr/Sr High School students were given their Student ID/ASB cards. The cards were delivered by Mr. Caldwell along with the following instructions. They are repeated here for parent information and to refresh the memory of any students who may not have been giving Mr. Caldwell their full attention.
*It is important to note, that ALL students were given a card this year as they are being utilized at school, as well as proof of purchase of an activities pass. Students who did not actually purchase the activities pass have their student ID's flagged as such, and subsequently a list is retained at the gate of those students who will need to pay at the gate for home events.
IMPORTANT: The student ID this year is imprinted with a bar code specific to each student, and the ID will now be used for library check out, and in the very near future, lunch purchase. Students will need their cards to check out materials from the library or to access their meal accounts. The ID's are picture ID's so the librarian, teaching staff and food services personnel can recognize the user. *If LOST, a $5 charge will be assessed to replace the card. (That replacement price is subject to increase if the rate of loss becomes an issue.) Students will need to turn in their ID cards at student check-out for summer break, as the cards will be used again in the fall on an interim basis until new student ID's arrive. The $5 replacement fee will be assessed if the ID is not turned in at check out.
