NEWSLETTER DEADLINE

The deadline for the Genesee School District Newsletter December Issue is Monday morning, November 29th at 8:00 a.m. Please send all items to Mr. Peter Crowley at pcrowley@sd282.org

FOR YOUR PLANNING PURPOSES

There will be NO SCHOOL for students for the entire week of November 22nd through the 26th. Monday, the 22nd is a collaboration day for staff who will be in the building working. Tuesday is a furlough day for district employees. The remainder of the week is Thanksgiving Break. We wish everyone a restful week and time with family to be thankful. School will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29th.

Picture Retake Day

Picture retake day will be held on Monday, November 29th. This is for individual photos ONLY. Class group photos will not be retaken. *If you were absent on picture day, you need to have your photo taken. Additionally, if you are not satisfied with the quality of your photos, you may have them retaken. PLEASE NOTE: Picture retakes are only for obvious poor photos. (i.e. out of focus, poor lighting, eyes closed, obvious bad expression, etc.) Photos will not be retaken simply because you don't care for the way you look. In order to have a photo retaken, you need to bring in your original photo packet, and write on the packet why you are dissatisfied with the photos. Your original packet will be taken by the photographer.

Mars Rovers

There will be a meeting in the multi purpose room at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, November 16th, for all 5th and 6th grade students and their parents interested in the Mars Rovers Program.
