TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. If you have not yet thanked your teacher for their service, it's not too late!! The Genesee PTO would like to remind ALL members of the Genesee Schools Staff to please accept their invitation to a lunchtime salad bar today and a dessert bar tomorrow afternoon. Both events will be held in the Home Ec Room. Everyone on staff received an invitation with times listed. Enjoy and thank you!

Early Release Day

This Thursday, May 6th, is a regularly scheduled Early Release Day for Genesee Schools. Classes will dismiss at 1:25 p.m. This is staff training and work time so students are asked to leave the building and premises immediately upon dismissal.

Upcoming Elementary Concerts

The K-3 Concert is on Thursday, May 13th. The 4-6 Concert is on Monday, May 17th. The Elementary Festival is on Wednesday, May 19th in Lewiston.

Community Blood Drive

The INBC will be hosting a Community Blood Drive on Thursday, May 6th here at school from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The blood mobile will be parked out front of the school. Appointments are available by coming to or calling the High School Office at 285-1162. If you are 16 years of age or older and weigh at least 120 pounds, and are in good health you can donate. 16 and 17 year old donors need parent permission which is available at the High School Office. Please consider this life giving donation!

***THE GOAL THIS TIME IS 18 UNITS, We currently only have 12 donors signed up. We have appointments for 15 more available. (Remember, the blood center can always use far more than 18 units, and not all donors who sign up will necessarily be eligible.) If you are able and have not yet signed up, please do so TODAY. THANKS!
