JR/SR High School News
.) Congratulations to the Baseball team who won their game Friday as they began District Tournament action! The winning streak did not continue for the Bulldogs on Saturday however and they brought their season to a close. We are proud of our Bulldog Baseball Team!
.) Congratulations to Justin Pickard who ran a strong 1600 meter at regional Track in Kamiah on Saturday. It was HOT in Kamiah and Justin ran strong but did not qualify for state competition.
.) Congratulations to the Softball Team who won their game on Friday and continued districts with one win and one loss on Saturday to finish the season second in the league. The Lady Bulldogs will now travel to State competition!! Nice job Bulldogs!
.) CAPS and GOWNS have arrived!! Seniors - you may pick up your cap and gown once you bring a wallet sized senior portrait photo to the high school office for the wallboard. Once your cap and gown has been given to you, you are responsible for it. Please take it home promptly. The sun can cause fading if it is left in your car for several days . . . Additionally, you will want time to let the wrinkles hang out or to prepare it for graduation day. Thank you.
.) Reminder that Driver's Ed begins next Monday, May 24th right after school in Mr. Sams' room. Make sure you have purchased your learners permit!
.) LIBRARY REMINDER: Ladies and Gentlemen, the Genesee School Library will close for inventory on May 21st. Please return ALL library materials ASAP. Remember you need to be cleared at the library in order to complete check-out for graduation or summer break. You are responsible for all items originally checked out in your name.
.) High School Choir will meet on Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm--we need to prepare for Cabaret and Graduation--see you all there!
.) Happy 14th Birthday to Miss Kamri Sams!
.) EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Temporary employment. Spring garden work and light housekeeping. A local senior citizen woman needs assistance getting her gardens in shape for the season and help with some spring house cleaning. If you are a High School Girl interested in this opportunity, please contact Vallie Messick at 285-1435.
