Family Promise


Sammy Sperber, Genesee’s 2015 Distinguished Young Woman is collecting diapers and baby wipes as a part of her “Be Your Best Self Project”. Through the month of October there will be a donation box in the high school office where you can make your donation. Other items that can be donated include shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap etc. Family Promise’s mission is "to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence". Please help support this worthy

BMac Sports Basketball Clinics


Hosted by Brandon McIntosh, Genesee High School Girls Basketball Coach
Where: Genesee High School Gyms, Genesee, Idaho
When: Sundays (visit bmacsports.webs.com for future dates and fundamental focus)
Fall/Winter clinic schedule is listed at bmacsports.webs.com.
Who: Grades: 3-5 and 6-8 Boys and Girls
Times: 5:00-6:30 pm (all at same time)
Each clinic will focus on different areas of basketball fundamental development:
Ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, post play, and defense
Cost: Genesee resident $5 non-residents $8 (each clinic attended)
BRING YOUR FAVORITE BASKETBALL IF YOU HAVE ONE.
Must register for each clinic session interested in attending. Registration form only needs to be filled out prior to the first clinic attended. Fee is due before start of each clinic. Pre-registration or registration day of clinic is acceptable. Fall/Winter Clinic dates: All Sunday evenings. Visit bmacsports.webs.com for updates and cancellations. Jr. High/High School News


Good effort on Friday night Football! It was a tough fought game against Kamiah! 

Congrats Varsity Volleyball team on your win in the first round of the District Tournament play against Kamiah!

Come cheer for the Varsity Volleyball team tonight against Troy in the second round of District Tournament play, 7pm at the LCSC Activity Center.

Congrats Jr-Sr HS Marching Band! Way to represent Genesee at the UI homecoming parade and pre-game show. The Genesee Band received the Outstanding Band Award for their Awesomeness! Go Bulldogs!
The After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:
Monday 10/20: Mrs. Bardwell's Classroom
Tuesday 10/21: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter
Wednesday 10/22: Mrs. Booth's Classroom
Thursday 10/23: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter

Color groups will be meeting on Mondays to discuss the following:
Monday 10/20:  decide on each group’s 1-2 “posters” to submit to the staff for voting and generate ideas for Give-back day  
Monday 10/27: have students sign up for Give-back day jobs-posters voted on this week
Monday 11/3: finalize who is doing what, and what items will be needed for the jobs
Give back day will be November 6 beginning at 12:30 p.m.
