Sammy Sperber, Genesee’s 2015 Distinguished Young Woman is collecting diapers and baby wipes as a part of her “Be Your Best Self Project”. Through the month of October there will be a donation box in the high school office where you can make your donation. Other items that can be donated include shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap etc. Family Promise’s mission is "to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence". Please help support this worthy

Who: Grades: 3-5 and 6-8 Boys and Girls
Times: 5:00-6:30 pm (all at same time)
Each clinic will focus on different areas of basketball fundamental development:
Ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, post play, and defense
Cost: Genesee resident $5 non-residents $8 (each clinic attended)
BRING YOUR FAVORITE BASKETBALL IF YOU HAVE ONE.
Must register for each clinic session interested in attending. Registration form only needs to be filled out prior to the first clinic attended. Fee is due before start of each clinic. Good luck to the Varsity Football team tonight as they travel to Kamiah for a game beginning at 7:00. Tonight is Kamiah's homecoming and they are serving a hog roast dinner before the game. Prices for the dinner are $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under.
There are treats in Mr. Hanson's room for the football team.
Good luck to the JH/HS Band at the U of I Homecoming Parade and halftime show at the Kibbie Dome tomorrow.

After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students
to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run
from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:
Monday 10/13: Mrs. Bardwell's Classroom
Tuesday 10/14: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter
Wednesday 10/15: Mrs. Booth's Classroom
Thursday 10/16: Mrs. Sperber's Classroom
Color groups will be meeting on Mondays to discuss the following:
Monday 10/20: decide on each group’s 1-2 “posters” to submit to the staff for voting and generate ideas for Give-back day
Monday 10/27: have students sign up for Give-back day jobs-posters voted on this week
Monday 11/3: finalize who is doing what, and what items will be needed for the jobs
Give back day will be November 6 beginning at 12:30 p.m.
