Play Performance


Come see the zany--but original--version of the well-known Grimm's Fairy Tales performed by the energetic 8th graders.  You won't want to miss this hilarious, fast-paced, free performance tonight only at 7:00 in the Multipurpose Room.


Community Halloween Party


Families with children 10 and under are invited to the Civic Association Halloween Party on Thursday, October 30 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. Pizza and juice will be served and craft tables will be set up for all to enjoy! 


Professional Development Day


There will be no school for students this Friday, October 31. This is a professional development day for staff. School will resume Monday, November 3 at 8:00 a.m.


Clothing Exchange


Please stop in after your conference to drop, swap or shop for free clothing items. Get rid of what you can't use and take home something you can. The clothing exchange will be Thursday, November 6 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Friday, November 7 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m at the school. Donations will be accepted November 3-6. Please bring your clean, gently used clothing items to the school multipurpose room.  


Save the Date


Come watch The LC Pea Shooters (featuring local community members) vs. The Harlem Ambassadors basketball teams play at Memorial Gym on the University of Idaho campus on Wednesday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and can be purchased in the HS office. This event is a fundraiser for LCYAC. Local community members Doug Stout, Lee Tilleman and Brandon McIntosh will be representing Genesee for The LC Pea Shooters!



BMac Sports Basketball Clinics


Hosted by Brandon McIntosh, Genesee High School Girls Basketball Coach
Where: Genesee High School Gyms, Genesee, Idaho
When: Sundays (visit bmacsports.webs.com for future dates and fundamental focus)
Fall/Winter clinic schedule is listed at bmacsports.webs.com.
Who: Grades: 3-5 and 6-8 Boys and Girls
Times: 5:00-6:30 pm (all at same time)
Each clinic will focus on different areas of basketball fundamental development:
Ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, post play, and defense
Cost: Genesee resident $5 non-residents $8 (each clinic attended)
BRING YOUR FAVORITE BASKETBALL IF YOU HAVE ONE.
Must register for each clinic session interested in attending. Registration form only needs to be filled out prior to the first clinic attended. Fee is due before start of each clinic. Pre-registration or registration day of clinic is acceptable. Fall/Winter Clinic dates: All Sunday evenings. Visit bmacsports.webs.com for updates and cancellations. There will be a state send-off assembly for the Football and Volleyball teams today in the gym at 3:00.

The Safe and Sober Graduation Committee will meet tonight at 7:00 in Mrs. Sperber's classroom.

The After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:
Monday 10/27: Mrs. Bardwell's Classroom
Tuesday 10/28: Mrs. Booth's Classroom
Wednesday 10/29: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter
Thursday 10/30: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter

Color groups will be meeting on Mondays to discuss the following:
Monday 11/3: finalize who is doing what, and what items will be needed for the jobs
Give back day will be November 6 beginning at 12:30 p.m.
