The PTO would like to thank the school and community for supporting our 2nd annual Bulldog Bingo on March 19th. We had a great turnout and a lot of fun was had by all! GENESEE JR MISS - DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMAN PROGRAM
The Distinguished Young Women Program, formerly known as Genesee Jr. Miss, is this Saturday night at 7PM in the Multi. Come out and support Miranda Carter, Ryelee Schlueter, Jordyn Souders, Lacey Schwarz and Rebecca Eichler. Admission is $10. The theme this year is Summer Nights and promises to be a great program!

JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Jr High Boys basketball teams who who claimed victories over Troy here at home Friday night. The B team won in a nail biter overtime and the A team won as well! Nice Job guys!!
2.) Congratulations to the Baseball Team who won on Friday evening. The Bulldogs were not successful as the tournament continued on Saturday, but kicked of their season strong.
3.) Good Luck to the Jr High Girls Basketball teams who will be playing Potlatch here at home tonight in games beginning at 5:30 p.m. Go Dawgs!
4.) *******The Baseball game against Timberline scheduled for tomorrow here in Genesee has been postponed due to field conditions.********
5.) The Boys Basketball Sports Banquet will be held this Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi Purpose Room. Please bring a dessert to share. *ALSO please get $12 to Sally or Sam Druffel for coaches gifts, please make checks out to Sally Druffel. Thank you.
6.) SENIORS: Your Senior Portraits for the Yearbook and the Slide Show, as well as any other pictures needed or that you would like to have featured in the Slide Show are DUE - NO LATER THAN APRIL 15TH! There will be no exceptions! The Yearbook has a deadline to meet, and the people working on the Slide Show need time to put it together. *Spring Break should afford you the time to locate and get the pictures you need, so please remember that deadline. ADDITIONALLY, for the yearbook, if it is at all possible, digital format is better. Please send to Mr. Nathan Barham at nbarham@sd282.org. Thank You!
7.) PROM NEWS. The Genesee High School Prom will be held here in the multi purpose room on Saturday, April 16th from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. DJ Steven will be providing the music, and Portraits by Judy Moser will handle photography. Tickets will be pre-sold in order for the decorating committee to adequately plan. Pre-sold tickets are $10 each, and need to be purchased NO LATER than April 5th (please, keep in mind this is the Tuesday right AFTER Spring Break.) Admission will be $15 each at the door.
8.) JUNIOR BOYS: Please remember Boys State Forms are due to the office by TODAY, March 21st. Don't miss this great opportunity!!
9.) High School Choir will meet Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the solo/ensemble Festival!! Everyone from Genesee placed within the two highest ratings categories!
