Newsletter Deadline


The deadline for the April Newsletter will be March 21st at Noon. *Please note the earlier deadline due to Spring Break. Please submit all items electronically to Mr. Peter Crowley at pcrowley@sd282.org

PTO NEWS


Please remember BULLDOG BINGO NIGHT being sponsored by the Genesee PTO. The event will be held on March 19th, featuring a pizza dinner and raffle. More information to come!

PTO RAFFLE - American Girl Doll / Raft Trip
Don't miss out on your chance to win some fantastic prizes! In conjunction with our Bulldog Bingo event on March 19, the Genesee PTO is selling raffle tickets for the following prizes:
1. A new American Girl doll (Rebecca) who will come with a designer wardrobe
2. A Salmon River Raft Trip for two with a one-night stay at Salmon Rapids Lodge.
*Raffle tickets are currently being sold by PTO members for $1/ticket. (You do not need to be at Bulldog Bingo to win the prize.) Tickets may be purchased from Melissa Hanson at school or at Bulldog Bingo.

Poster Contest Winner


Congratulations to Cameron Barton who won the Genesee TAR WARS poster contest. Cameron's poster was sent to Boise where it will be hung in the Idaho State Capitol Building and judged in the state contest. Good luck Cameron!

JR/SR High School News


1.) Good Luck to the Jr. High Girls basketball teams who will travel to Deary for games beginning at 5:30 p.m. Good Luck Ladies!!

2.) Latah County 4-H and FFA beef weigh in will be March 26th in the Monson Barn at U-I. We will weigh beginning at 7 AM – 9AM. Please bring bill of sale or brand slip with them as we will have a brand inspector to transfer ownership if needed.

3.) Parents of Seniors: All seniors have been given information about applying for local scholarship awarded at graduation. Instructions for applying and all local scholarship applications can be found on the Genesee School District web page at the following link: http://www.sd282.org/guidance/scholarships/Local_scholarships.pdf

4.) PROM NEWS. The Genesee High School Prom will be held here in the multi purpose room on Saturday, April 16th from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. DJ Steven will be providing the music, and Portraits by Judy Moser will handle photography. Tickets will be pre-sold in order for the decorating committee to adequately plan. Pre-sold tickets are $10 each, and need to be purchased NO LATER than April 5th (please, keep in mind this is the Tuesday right AFTER Spring Break.) Admission will be $15 each at the door.
