March Newsletter Deadline
All items for the March Newsletter need to be submitted by February 23rd at 8 am. Please submit items electronically to Mr. Pete Crowley at pcrowley@sd282.org.
JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Boys Basketball teams who brought their regular season to a close with victories over Potlatch here at home Friday night!
2.) The first round of District Tournament play did not yield success for the Bulldogs, but action will continue as the boys play Timberline on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at LCSC. Go Dawgs!
3.) The following people still have pictures in the office from Winter Ball, and if you called Judy and asked for additional pictures, those have been delivered as well, please pick up your pictures ASAP: (Thank you!) Sam Hoffman, Sam Druffel, April Broemeling, Karli Bennett, Sam Moser, and Rachael Osterberg. *Additionally, Who is Mabry?- you have 2 5 X 7's of the Senior Class Photo. ALSO - The following signed up for group photos but have not paid. You need to bring your money and pick-up your pictures: FR - Kylie H, Jackie H, Payton AT. SOPH - Kaytee L, Rebecca E, Gunnar K. JR - April B,Amanda M, Lacey F. SR - Erin and Michelle.
4.) The Forestry/Greenhouse class is currently taking orders for our spring lawn furniture sale. If you would like to pre-order an Adirondak chair, picnic table, or garden bench please contact JR Morrow for details. We currently have 3 orders and can take up to 6.
5.)Genesee students who will be at least 14 years and six months old by May 3rd, can sign up for this year's Driver Education Program. The program will start May 3rd and end sometime around the middle of July. See Mrs. Schacher or Mrs. Pickard in the office to sign up. The cost will be determined by the number of students enrolled.

6.) Jr and Sr High School Girls interested in Girl Scouts, there will be an informational meeting next Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the multi. Flyers with additional information are available at the high school office window.
7.) Senior Parents: There will be a planning meeting Wednesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room for the Safe and Sober Graduation celebration - all senior parents needed!
8.) There will be a short parent meeting for Jr. High Boys Basketball players TONIGHT at 5:30 p.m., immediately following practice. Thank you.
9.) Sophomores who STILL have not paid for the basket, you now owe $12, please get the money to Gunnar ASAP!
10.) Team Varnish U16 is practicing Thursday the 19th from 7-9 p.m. NOT Wednesday.

REMINDER: The Elementary After School Study Hall is a program for students to work on class assignments and homework. Once the work is complete, students are excused to go home. There are no “activities” for students to be involved in, as this is NOT an after school child care program. Thank you.
