Zone Four Vacancy on Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees has a vacancy in zone four, the seat previously held by Jan Barber. According to Idaho law, the Board has 90 days to appoint an individual from zone four to serve until the end of the term July 2013).
Individuals from zone four who are interested in this appointment should contact Mrs. Moore, Superintendent at 285-1161 or via e-mail: wmoore@sd282.org before December 1, 2011. The Board will then conduct interviews during the week of December 5-9 before making the appointment at the December 12, 2011 regular meeting.

The football banquet has been set for Sunday, November 13th at 4:00 in the Multipurpose room. Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors please bring a dessert to share. Senior parents here is your assignment: Renton-1 tub ice cream; Jones-1 tub ice cream; Borth-1 tub ice cream; Vestal- ice cream toppings; Prindle-ice cream toppings; Knecht-ice cream toppings; Renfrow-1 case of water; Hermann-2 gallons milk; Druffel-2 gallons milk.

Varnish Juniors Volleyball Club will be having tryouts on November 19. We are hoping to have both a U12 and a U14 team this year, so we hope all of you young ladies in those age categories will come try out. Football payers need to give Mitch Renfrow $10 for coaches gifts.

FFA members who want to attend the MFE/ALD or 212/360 conference need to sign up in the ag shop asap. With corporate sponsorship the cost is only $50 this year. Due to limited bus seating it is a first pay first signed up activity.

Great effort by the JH VB B team who played hard, but lost to Potlatch last Thursday evening. Congratulations to the A team who defeated Potlatch.

Congratulations to Hailey Johnson who placed 1st in the state swim meet in the 50, and 2nd in the 100!

VB Banquet will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. We will serve ice cream sundaes, please bring the following items: Seniors - Cookies/Brownies; Juniors - Toppings (chocolate chips, whipped topping, candy bits, nuts, etc.); Sophomores - each bring a tub of ice cream and an ice cream scoop; Freshmen: Sammy - syrups, Mattie - water.

Zone Four Vacancy on Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees has a vacancy in zone four, the seat previously held by Jan Barber. According to Idaho law, the Board has 90 days to appoint an individual from zone four to serve until the end of the term July 2013).

Congratulations to the VB team who brought home the second place trophy from the state tournament played over the weekend in Lewiston. Way to go Bulldogs, we are proud of you!

Congratulations to the FB team who finished their season last Thursday night with a solid win over CV.

Hailey Johnson won 1st place in the 50 and 100 meter freestyle at district's over the weekend, qualifying her for state. Good luck Hailey!

Juniors and Seniors: The annual National College Fair will be in Spokane on Tuesday, November 8th at the Spokane Convention Center. Representatives from more than one hundred colleges and universities as well as all branches of the military will be available for you to meet and talk with about their school and programs.
