District Wide News:
Genesee Civic
Association and the City of Genesee are hosting a Winter Lighting Festival at
the Senior Center on Sunday December 3rd from 4-6pm. Everyone is welcome, pizza
and hot chocolate will be provided, along with cookie decorating and pictures
with Santa. A tree in the people’s park will be decorated with ornaments from
our community! Feel free to bring an ornament from your family to add to the
tree!
Missing anything? Please
check the lost and found table, we have an accumulation of elementary and
secondary items! They will all be donated during winter break.
PTO is hosting a
December Book Fair 12/4 through 12/8 in the MPR.
Grand lunch will be
Tuesday 12/5, Books and Breakfast will be at 7:30 am 12/7 and a family book
fair bingo and dessert night Friday 12/8 starting at 6:30.

Genesee Civic
Association is asking for artwork submissions for next year’s phone book! They
are looking for Genesee themed art that will fit on a 5 ½ x 8 ½ sheet of paper.
Please submit to the front office or to Amy Peterson at Plaid and Pearls by Friday
December 1st, all ages are encouraged to submit an entry!
**Reminder all
visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge
during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and
staff! **

Snow and cold weather
season is upon us! Please remember to help your kids dress appropriately, snow
boots, hats, gloves and snow pants are encouraged for outside recess!

concert (The Nutcracker) will be the evening of December 11th, starting at
6:30.
