Winter Break
Genesee Schools will have a full week of school with regular hours this week. Our Winter Break will begin on Monday, December 23. School will resume Monday, January 6, 2014. Enjoy your break!
1st-6th Grade Basketball Clinic
Forms for this clinic were due in the office Thursday, 12/18/2013. However, if you still want your son/daughter to participate, Brian Pope will be collecting forms outside the gym on Monday, 12/30 before the clinic begins.

Parenting Class Opportunity
PARENTS: Genesee School will once again be offering the Parenting with Love & Logic course beginning in late January. The parenting skills taught in the course are applicable for parents with children from toddlers through high school. A sheet with course information and an application/registration form will be sent home in the December 13th Friday folders for grades K-5. Parents of older students may pick up a hard copy of the information sheet in the high school office. Forms will also be part of the December/January district newsletter coming out right before Winter Break or you may request to have a form e-mailed to you by
calling the high school office at 285-1162 or by e-mailing your request to Shelly Renton at srenton@sd282.org.

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team who defeated CV last night.
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Basketball team who defeated Grangeville at home last night and great effort by the JV team who played well but lost.
Good luck to the Girls Basketball teams who play in Potlatch tonight. The JV team plays at Potlatch Elementary beginning at 5:30 and the Varsity game will begin at 7:30 at Potlatch High School.

Natalie & Brittney: the winners of the pizza party from the last PRIDE Assembly, your pizza party will be today at lunchtime in Mr. Derting's classroom. Those attending are: Holly, Sam M., Courtney B., Hope, Anna D., Jake, Rhyker, Taylor, Sydney and James.
FFA members interested in applying for your state FFA degree you will need to take the FFA/Parliamentary Procedure Test this week. The test will be scheduled for Lunch on Wednesday 12/18 (FFA Knowledge) and Thursday 12/19 (Parliamentary Procedure). Please plan on attending these at lunch on those two days. This will be the only time that the tests can be taken.
