Genesee Schools will have a full week of school with regular hours this week. Our Winter Break will begin on Monday, December 23. School will resume Monday, January 6, 2014.

We have four youth medium, and ten youth large shirts left, and we are offering them at the discounted price of $10.00 each. Parenting Class Opportunity
PARENTS: Genesee School will once again be offering the Parenting with Love & Logic course beginning in late January. The parenting skills taught in the course are applicable for parents with children from toddlers through high school. A sheet with course information and an application/registration form will be sent home in the December 13th Friday folders for grades K-5. Parents of older students may pick up a hard copy of the information sheet in the high school office. Forms will also be part of the December/January district newsletter coming out right before Winter Break or you may request to have a form e-mailed to you by
calling the high school office at 285-1162 or by e-mailing your request to Shelly Renton at srenton@sd282.org.

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball teams who both defeated Kamiah Saturday.
Good luck to the Girls Basketball teams who travel to Troy tonight for games beginning 6:00 with 2 quarters of JV play followed by Varsity at 7:00.

Freshmen and Sophomores: if you are interested in traveling to a Spanish-speaking country in June 2015, please plan to attend the informational meeting in Mrs. Bechtel's classroom during Activity Period today.
FFA members interested in applying for your state FFA degree you will need to take the FFA/Parliamentary Procedure Test next week. The test will be scheduled for Lunch on Wednesday 12/18 (FFA Knowledge) and Thursday 12/19 (Parliamentary Procedure). Please plan on attending these at lunch on those two days. This will be the only time that the tests can be taken.
