EVACUATION DRILL - THURSDAY
To make Parents and Community Members aware, Genesee School District will be practicing a planned Evacuation Drill on Thursday afternoon (4/7/11) at approximately 2:30 p.m. *This will be a full evacuation to our 'off campus' safe site, which is the Genesee Fire Hall. It will also involve practice loading buses at this alternate site. Students and staff will not be returning to the school building until just before dismissal. **There will be a skeleton crew at school to manage phones, however, getting last minute messages to students will be nearly impossible, so please insure all arrangements necessary for appointments and end of day plans involving your students are made in advance of Thursday's drill. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we practice this important safety procedure.

JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Jr. High Boys Basketball teams who had an exciting night of action in games played at Kendrick last night! The B team narrowly lost in a nail biter to the finish, and the A team claimed victory! Nice job Bulldogs!!
2.) Cheer tryouts will be held April 23 at 1 p.m., gym/room tbd. Please wear athletic clothes and low shoes. Tryouts will include one dance and one sideline pom cheer.
**2010 cheerleaders: please get uniforms turned into Holli soon—text or call with questions.
3.) High School Choir will meet from 7-8 p.m. TONIGHT.
4.) Non-Genesee Student Guest Sign-up for Prom has been posted at the High School Office window. All guests must be signed up by end of day on Wednesday, April 13th.
5.) If you missed the opportunity to order your tux for Prom from Paulucci's while they were here at lunch yesterday, you can still visit their store and order AND they will still accommodate you by dropping off your tux here at school the Friday before Prom, and will pick it up at the school the Monday after. Very nice convenience!
