Bulletin last updated 10/01/10, 8:45 a.m.

JR/SR High School News

.) Congratulations to the JV Football team who enjoyed a win over Prairie last night! Great job guys!

.) Congratulations as well to the Volleyball teams who defeated Potlatch at Potlatch last night! Congrats!

.) Genesee will be hosting the annual Pea and Lentil Volleyball tournament here at home tomorrow beginning at 8:00 a.m. Best of Luck Bulldogs!!

.) There will be no Jr. High Football practice today.

.) It's a by week for the football team. *All athletes need to clean out your locker room lockers and take all items home to be laundered. Thank you!

.) FFA members remember fair clean-up this Sunday starting at 9 am. Bring brooms and shovels. This is a Yearpin point opportunity for those FFA members who did not take an animal to the fair. ALL help is invited and welcome.

.) Congrats to the FFA Land and Soils Team they placed 3rd on Tuesday in district competition.

.) Rachel Krick has Ms. Allington's yearbook. If you did not make it to the signing party and would like to sign it, her yearbook will be in Mrs. Booth's room until the end of the day today. Then it will be mailed to her.

.) Any student that wants to join IDFY come see Mrs. Sperber (7th -12th Grade) to get a registration form. You do not need to fill out a new form if you were a member last year (however, you do need to locate your IDFY card).

.) Volunteer Opportunity: In case you were out of the building yesterday, Tauna Tyler, ASB President, visited classrooms yesterday afternoon to present a volunteer opportunity to students. The Genesee PTO is in need of volunteers to help with their annual Harvest Carnival. This is a great event for the youth of our community, and a wonderful chance for older students to 'give back' to their school and community. (FYI, it also looks good on your resume for scholarship applications.) If you would like more information or are able to lend a hand, please contact Tauna Tyler or see Mr. Caldwell. Volunteering is rewarding - give it a try!

.) Happy Birthday to Ryan Frasure!

.) ASB officers please plan to meet with Mr. Caldwell today during Activity Period to discuss Homecoming Activities. Thank you.
