Love and Logic Classes in Genesee
Genesee Parents: As announced in the January newsletter, Genesee School will be hosting a series of parenting classes--Becoming a Love & Logic Parent. Classes will run for seven Wednesday evenings beginning on February 17th. Enrollment forms with more information are available in the main school office. Enrollment application deadline is January 27th but space is limited; apply soon.
FOUND
Small black puppy. Had a silver chain that got stuck in the rocks of a retaining wall. The owner of the retaining wall, freed the puppy and will keep the puppy safe until this evening, but will then have to call city animal control. If the puppy is yours, please call Shay at 208-596-2744. Thank you.
GES Singers
GES singers will meet Tuesday from 3:20 to 4:20 p.m. in the Music Room
JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Girls basketball team who defeated Summit Academy on Friday evening at Highland. The Girls were defeated here at home by Colton on Saturday.
2.) Congratulations to the JV Boys Basketball team who defeated Troy here at home on Saturday evening. The Varsity fell short of victory but there was great action on the court.
3.) Winter Ball will be held on Saturday evening January 30th from 9:00 to midnight at the Genesee Fire Hall. Admission is $5 per person. Out of town or out of High School guests, must be signed up in the office by end of day on Wednesday, January 27th.
4.) JUNIORS: To sign up for your free Tech Prep college credit for taking the Career class the registration form is due no later than the end of third period on Monday. You may turn the signed, completed form in to Mr. Scripter or Mr. Crowley.
5.) Music Events for this week: Tuesday: Boys' b-ball pep band at 6:45pm;
