Holiday Stockings For The Troops

The Community Church here in Genesee is once again sponsoring holiday stockings to be sent to the troops. You may have seen the various display boards in town highlighting the project and the various items needed. Mary Becker is the chairperson for this project and may be contacted for donations or questions. Her phone number is 208-301-1946. *As of this posting, donations are way down, and they are asking for your help. The stockings need to be mailed by Monday, November 30th in order to make holiday delivery. Assembly of the stockings will take place on Sunday, November 29th in the basement of the Community Church and all hands are welcome!! If you have items to donate or would like to make a cash donation, please call Mary at the number listed above. Final shopping for the stockings will take place on Wednesday and Friday, so if you can assist financially or physically, please consider this worth while cause! Thank you!

Family Photo Fundraiser Deliveries

The Photo items from the French Club Family Photo Fundraiser have been delivered to the school and are ready for pick-up.

Sharing Tree

Sharing Tree Tags for children in our community of Genesee will once again be available for pick-up from the tree in the Palouse Mall. Tags for Genesee children are red and your help is really appreciated. The Sharing Tree Project helps provide Christmas items for families who may be experiencing tough financial times, and give them a hand up for basic items. Tags are made for a few piece of clothing, (shirt, pants, shoes), winter clothes if needed, and two fun items. Many children on The Sharing Tree are lacking in the basic necessities we all take for granted - such as a pair of shoes or boots.

We have a very generous community and your past kindness is appreciate. Please consider helping out the Sharing Tree again this year. Gifts can be returned to the wagon located outside of Ross at the Palouse Empire Mall. Please include the red tag with the gift - please do not wrap the gift. Thank you for Sharing!!
