School Zone
From 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM Ash Street between Tamarack and Elm is closed to all traffic except school bus loading and unloading. It is imperative that no vehicles use this portion of Ash Street during this time for the safety of the students. We have had several incidents of cars driving through Ash Street while buses are unloading students in the morning. Not only is this dangerous, it is illegal. Violators will be prosecuted.

Emergency Wet Weather Kit
The school office has a very limited supply of clothing in case a student gets wet or muddy at recess. We'd like to offer a helpful hint: A gallon zip-loc bag with dry socks, undergarment and sweats stored in the bottom of a child's backpack can save the day!
Lost and Found
We have accumulated a number of unclaimed items that are hanging along the wall outside the Multi. Check it out and claim what is yours. ALL items are gone as of Friday!!
Thanksgiving Break
For your planning purposes, Genesee Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving Break, Wednesday, November 25th through Sunday, November 29th. Tuesday is a regular attendance day and is NOT Early Release. Classes resume at 8:25 a.m. Monday morning, November 30th. Have a safe and fun break!
JR/SR High School News
1.) Attention JV & Varsity volleyball players - The volleyball banquet is Thursday, Nov. 19 @ 6:30. Please bring the following for our taco/Mexican dinner. Seniors - meat & drinks, Juniors & Freshman - toppings & 1 pkg. of shells (Tammie Dahmen will contact you regarding specifically what to bring), Sophomores - dessert & 1 pkg. of shells.
2.) FOOTBALL PLAYERS: The Football Banquet will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Multi Purpose Room. Food assignments for the football banquet: Seniors - main dish, Juniors - desserts, Sophomores - salad and bread, Freshman - desserts. Plates, cups, napkins, silverware, and drinks will be provided
3.) Good Luck to the Girls Basketball Team who will take on the Grangeville Bulldogs tonight here at home beginning at 7:00 p.m. Go Dawgs!
4.) Blue team, please bring your $5 for food bank pizza party to Mrs. Mattoon, Kendell, or Tallah this week. All color teams are having a meeting this Thursday at 1:15. That would be a good time to bring your money.
5.)Football Players: Please bring your $10 for coaches gifts to the office ASAP. There is a check-off list and we need everyone to contribute by tomorrow. Thank you.
