Elementary News:
It’s Scholastic Book
Fair Week!!
Stop into the Book Fair located in the Multi-Purpose and check out the
great selection of books and gifts! Genesee PTO host’s the Scholastic Book Fair
in order to get more books into our school and hands of Genesee kids! All
proceeds are redeemed as books, which are then placed into Genesee classroom’s
and help supplement the Genesee Sharing Tree! Your support is greatly
appreciated.
Book Fair Events:
Thursday, Family Bingo
night, 6:00-8:00.
Friday, Grand Story Time,
with milk and cookies. 9:00 to 12:00.
The Elementary Winter Concert will be Thursday, December 13th at
6:30.
Genesee Rec District Winter
Basketball forms will be coming home by the end of this week. This program is for 1st
through 6th grade students and the cost is 10.00 per student. If you have any
questions please call or text Daniel Lindquist at 208-310-3953 or e-mail at dlindquist19@sd282.org. Please return
forms with payment to Carly in the office by December 21st.
After School Study
Hall:
**Please remember this program is to help students be successful in
completing homework and to get extra help when needed. This program is not
intended to be used as daycare, if you are expecting your student to remain for
the duration of the program he/she needs to have a book to read or work to be
completed quietly. If your student has finished all work and has nothing to
work on he/she will be allowed to sign out of the program. Please ensure you
are able to make arrangements to pick up your student or have him/her walk home.
