District Wide News:

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

4-day week this week

No School Friday May 11th, Friday May 25th, Monday May 28th.

The last collection for Box Tops for this school year will be May 24th! There is a drop box in the main office or send them in with students to individual classrooms! Each non expired Box Top collected raises 10 cents!

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

Elementary Year Book is on sale! www.treering.com
Genesee PTO will be hosting the final Scholastic Book Fair of this school year this week, Monday through Friday. Books and Breakfast on Thursday starting at 7:15. There will also be a competition between classes to see who can bring in the most items for the Genesee Food Bank! The winning class will be able to pick out books for their classroom! Your support is greatly appreciated, proceeds from this fair will go towards sending every Genesee student home with a book!

ELEMENTARY SPRING MUSIC CONCERT TIMES:
Wednesday 5/9 – 4th Grade concert at 7:00.
Thursday 5/10 – K-2nd Grade concert at 6:30.
5th/6th Grade will be June 4th at 6:30.

After School Study Hall:
Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall. THE LAST DAY OF AFTER SCHOOL STUDY HALL FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE MAY 17th.

Junior High and High School News:

Seniors - please turn in your safe & sober contracts.  They were emailed to your parents a few weeks ago.  They are due Thurs to the office.

Genesee Volleyball will once again be hosting the Club GSL summer volleyball camp June 25-27 for incoming 7-12 graders. Registration forms went out via email on May 4, but if you are not on our list or would like more information, please contact Coach Crowley. pcrowley@sd282.org

After School Study Hall: Last day of after school program for this school year will be May 24th.

Admission Prices are:  Adults $6.00, Seniors $5.00, Students 7-12 $4.00, Students K-6 $3.00, Pre-School – no charge, IHSAA passes will be honored

V Baseball 1 A District Baseball Tournament @ Orofino. Games start at 3:30.
V Coed Track Regionals @ Lapwai. Meet starts at 1:00.

Saturday May 12th:
V Baseball 1A District Baseball Tournament @ Orofino.
V Coed Track Regionals @ Lapwai. Meet starts at 10:00.
