District Wide News:

4-day week this week

No school Friday, April 13^th and Friday April 27^th.

Missoula children’s Theatre:

An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS Monday, April 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Genesee School Multi-Purpose Room. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Performances will be on Friday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Genesee School. Please ensure your child is able to make both performances prior to auditioning. This program is open to all K-12 students of Genesee!

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

Genesee Child Find: On Friday, April 13^th the Genesee School District will provide a free developmental screening for children ages 0-3 and Pre-School/Kindergarten age children. This is also a great time to sign up and register for Pre-School and Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year. Please remember Pre-School students must be 4 by September 1st and Kindergarten students must be 5 by September 1st. Please bring an official birth certificate and proof of immunization for registering. Call Carly at the office to set up appointment time 208-285-1162.

After School Study Hall:

Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Junior High and High School News:

High School Students! If you plan on attending prom on April 21^st, the prom committee would love to hear your (appropriate) music suggestions! There is a song request sheet in the office, please list song title and artist by Monday, April 9^th! Hope to see you there!!

Come cheer on Cole, Edward, Kamiakin, Ben, John, and Hayden when they take the stage for Mr. GHS on Wednesday, April 11th at 7 pm in the multi-purpose room! All the proceeds will go toward the Special Olympics, and admission is $5 for adults, $3 for high school students, and $2 for elementary students.

Genesee Safe and Sober Lucky Dawg Raffle Drawing:

The winning tickets for the raffle will be drawn on April 11 at the Mr. GHS contest.
