Missoula
children’s Theatre:
An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's
Theatre (MCT) production of SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS Monday, April 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30
p.m. in the Genesee School Multi-Purpose Room. Those auditioning should arrive
at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members
will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Performances will be on Friday, April 20 at 7:00 p.m.
and Saturday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Genesee School. Please ensure your
child is able to make both performances prior to auditioning. This program is open to all K-12 students
of Genesee!
**Reminder all
visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge
during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and
staff! **

On
Friday, April 13th the Genesee School District will provide a free
developmental screening for children ages 0-3 and Pre-School/Kindergarten age
children. This is also a great time to sign up and register for Pre-School and
Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year. Please remember Pre-School students
must be 4 by September 1st and Kindergarten students must be 5 by September 1st.
Please bring an official birth certificate and proof of immunization for
registering. Call Carly at the office to set up appointment time 208-285-1162.

is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help
students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to
have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Congratulations
Grace Turpin on being awarded the DYW of Genesee, Talent and Self Expression!
Daphne Buckland is the first alternate, and was also awarded Interview. Emma
Kirkham was awarded Scholastics and Spirit. Brooklyn Mayer was awarded Fitness.
Overall $5100.00 in scholarships went out! Well done Ladies! If you ordered pictures from Mr. Borth they are in the office.
Come cheer on Cole, Edward, Kamiakin, Ben, John, and
Hayden when they take the stage for Mr.
GHS on Wednesday, April 11th at 7 pm in the multi-purpose room! All
the proceeds will go toward the Special Olympics, and admission is $5 for
adults, $3 for high school students, and $2 for elementary students.
