District Wide News:

4-day week this week

No School Friday February 2nd

Congratulations to the following students for their participation in the Genesee Civic Association’s phone book art contest.
·       Cameron Meyer- 8th grade, won first place his art will be on the cover of the phone book along with a $15.00 prize.
·       Jonathan Nelson-11th grade, won second place earning a $10.00 prize.
·        Kole Scharnhorst- 6th grade, won third place earning a $5.00 prize.

Check out the adult winter reading program at the Genesee library! The program runs from January 8th through March 8th. Sign up to read 5 books, complete your list for a book gift as well as being entered into a grand prize drawing. Sign up at the library or register online @ http://lcld.northwestreads.org/Default.aspx?PID=54     

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

GES on Tuesday from 3:20 to 4:30 in the Band Room.

After School Study Hall:
Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Varsity Girls BBall 1A D1 GB District Tournament at Home. Game starts at 7:00. 

Wednesday January 31st:
Varsity Girls BBall 1A D1 GB District Tournament at LCSC Activity Center. Bus leaves at 6:00 and game starts at 7:30.

Thursday February 1st:
Varsity Girls BBall 1A D1 GB District Tournament at Home. TBD by Wednesday’s game.

Saturday February 3rd:
Boys BB at Prairie. JV plays at 6:00 and V plays at 7:30. Bus leaves at 3:30.
