District Wide News:

Genesee High School along with the Inland Northwest Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive on Monday January 15th. Make an appointment with Becky Pickard or on-line at www.inbcsaves.org, sponsor code: GeneseeHS

**Reminder all visitors need to sign in and out with the office and wear a visitor badge during school hours! This is an important safety feature for our students and staff! **

Elementary News:

Congratulations to this year's Elks Hoop Shoot qualifiers! Two students for each age category qualify this year to compete in Moscow on January 13th at the Hamilton Lowe Recreation Center (HERC). Registration begins at 8:30 am and competition begins at 9:30. Qualifiers will need to bring appropriate footwear, proof of age (birth certificate or alternate proof), and a parent. This year's qualifiers are as follows:

Girls 12-13: Isabelle Monk, Molly English
Boys 12-13: Nolan Bartosz, Cooper Owen

Girls 10-11: Kendra Meyer, Malia Jensen
Boys 10-11: Caden Trembley, Leif Johnson

Girls 8-9: Miley Grieser, Ilena Smith
Boys 8-9: Noah Bollman, Evan Kirkham

Snow and cold weather season is upon us! Please remember to help your kids dress appropriately, snow boots, hats, gloves and snow pants are encouraged for outside recess!

After School Study Hall:
Please remember this is not an activities based or daycare program. This program is designed to help students accomplish homework tasks or receive additional help. Students need to have something to work on at the after school study hall.

Junior High and High School News:

Juniors & Seniors-
LCSC hard copy Dual Credit registration forms and Fast Forward participation forms are due by 4:00pm on Friday the 12th.  Please also go online to request your Fast Forward funds for all spring dual credit courses by next Thursday, January 18th.


Seniors only - Those taking dual credit English 175 must complete the online dual credit application and turn in your completed paper registration form to Mr. Scripter by Wednesday next week, January 17th.

Winter Ball is Coming!
Winter ball will be held January 19th, from 8 pm to 11 pm in the commons. So dust off your dancing shoes, and pull out your semi-formal attire; winter ball is here! Cost is only 5$!
