Spring State Testing
Parents of students in grades 3-11: The schedule for spring standardized State testing has been posted on the school district website under "Notices & Alerts" at: www.sd282.org. Please check it periodically and we would appreciate it if you would please make every effort to have your student well rested and in attendance on days they are scheduled for assessment. Thank you for your assistance.

There will be no school for students this Friday, April 17 due to staff professional development. School will resume Monday, April 20 at 8:00 a.m.
Stacking Up for a Cure Against Cancer
Please join us for a pancake feed and Genesee Sausage fundraiser to help raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Food will be served from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on April 19 at the Genesee Fire Hall at 132 East Walnut Street. The cost will be by donation for this great cause. Please contact Mary Kate Myers for more information, this is her Senior Project.
Missoula Children's Theatre in Genesee
K-12 students: Missoula Children's Theatre tryouts for "The Little Mermaid" will be held next Monday at 3:30 in the MPR. If you are selected to participate in the show, you must be available for rehearsals from 3:30-8:00 every day for the entire week. Performances will be held in the MPR Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 in the evening. If you have any questions, please

Secondary Students: PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHARGE YOUR YOGA EVERY NIGHT. This is important every day, but for those of you in grades 7-10 taking ISAT tests on your Yogas for the next two weeks it is critical that your device is fully charged for your testing sessions. Also feel free to bring your own ear buds or headphones to use during the tests if you would like.

Booster Club May Day Flower Sale: The Booster Club will be selling carnations to celebrate May Day! Place your orders in the office no later than 4/22/15. Flowers will be delivered to students on Friday May 1st. Cost is $2.00 each.
Rachel is collecting books for "Books for Africa". Better World Books gathers books to sell to other countries, mainly Africa. If you have textbooks or other gently used books to donate, please contact Rachel.
