"Coffee Hour" with the Board of Education
On behalf of the Genesee Joint School District Board and Administration, we would like to invite you to “Coffee Hour” with the Board of Education. We are hoping to facilitate an open conversation around current educational opportunities for Genesee students, technology integration, goals of the district as well as other topics generated by our guests. Stacking Up for a Cure Against Cancer
Please join us for a pancake feed and Genesee Sausage fundraiser to help raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Food will be served from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on April 19 at the Genesee Fire Hall at 132 East Walnut. The cost will be by donation for this great cause. Please contact Mary Kate Myers for more information, this is her Senior Project.
Missoula Children's Theatre in Genesee
K-12 students: Missoula Children's Theatre tryouts for "The Little Mermaid" will be held next Monday at 3:30 in the MPR. If you are selected to participate in the show, you must be available for rehearsals from 3:30-8:00 every day for the entire week. Performances will be held in the MPR Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 in the evening. If you have any questions, please

Secondary Students: PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHARGE YOUR YOGA EVERY NIGHT. This is important every day, but for those of you in grades 7-10 taking ISAT tests on your Yogas for the next two weeks it is critical that your device is fully charged for your testing sessions. Also feel free to bring your own ear buds or headphones to use during the tests if you would like.

FFA News: The Parliamentary Procedure Team took 4th place at state last week and Ben K. was High Chairman, congratulations! Horse/Livestock judging sign up is in the shop, this includes 7th and 8th grade.
Spring sports photos will be taken Wednesday after school.
Track Athletes: please have your uniforms on at 3:30 Wednesday for our group photo at 3:40.
Please come support Beau Tilleman, Brady Bennett, Rhett Stout and Ely Stone-Walker as they show off their talents, poise and fitness April 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room for the Mr. GHS competition. Admission is $5 per person at the door.
Anna will be selling homemade suckers at the Mr. GHS program!
Who wants to have the school to themselves? Here's your chance! This Thursday, April 16 is going to be the first ever "Middle School Hang Out Night" featuring pizza, movies, video games, dodgeball, fort building.....fun, fun, fun! This event, hosted by the GHS music department, is for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students from 6:00 p.m. to midnight and tickets are $15 at the door which includes 2 slices of pizza and a soda.

Rachel is collecting books for "Books for Africa". Better World Books gathers books to sell to other countries, mainly Africa. If you have textbooks or other gently used books to donate, please contact Rachel.
