GES


Good luck to the GES students who will be performing at the Jazz Festival tomorrow at 10:20 a.m. in the U of I Music Building at Haddock Hall. The GES students will return to the school at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon.


U of I Jazz Concert


This year's Jazz Concert with the University of Idaho will be held Monday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the U of I Music Building in Haddock Hall.


Baseball/Softball Opportunities


It’s time for Cal Ripken baseball and Junior/Senior softball in Genesee!!
Cal Ripken forms will be out in backpacks this week; players ages 8-10 as of April 30 will play
Minors, and your contact is Nate Owen at idahoduckhunter@gmail.com. Majors are ages 11-12 as of
April 30; your contact is Jay Meyer at jjmeyer@idaho.net. All Cal Ripken forms (majors and minors) should be given to Cameron Meyer in 5th grade. 

Junior softball is for grades 3-5 and your contact is Tammy Stout at dtstout@frontier.com.
Senior softball is for grades 6-8 and your contact is Marnie Zenner at toothchick@genesee-id.com.
Softball forms went out in the backpacks 2 weeks ago, and the registration is all online. Please contact either Tammy or Marnie ASAP if you want to play on a Genesee team.

Jr. High/High School News


Softball players please plan to meet for Activity Period (1:05) today in the Spanish classroom. Important information, please be there.

Good luck to the Boys Basketball team as they continue District Tournament play tonight at LCSC against Potlatch at 5:45.

There are treats in Mrs. Tilleman's room for the Boys Basketball team.

It's FFA Week......Come to the Ag. Shop for a list of FFA items hidden around the school and then see how many you can find! 

Boys and Girls Jr. High Basketball practice schedule for this week will be as follows:
Wednesday, 2/25: 3:30 - 5:15 pm (boys district basketball at 5:45)
Thursday, 2/26: 6 - 7:30 am (Jazz Fest students will leave after practice)
Friday, 2/27: 3:30 - 5 pm (some students will miss due to Jazz Fest) 


BPA State Participants: If you still owe money for state, you need to get that to Mr. Crowley ASAP!  Check your email for amount. Also, check your email for the itinerary of our trip.

Field trip forms for FFA events this Friday need to be turned in by Thursday at 3:20. 

Good luck to the JH Band students who will be performing at the Jazz Festival in Moscow Thursday at 1:20 p.m. at the LDS church on Warbonnet Drive.

Good luck to the JH/HS Choir students who will be performing at the Jazz Festival in Moscow Friday at 8:20 a.m. at the SUB Ballroom.

Good luck to the FFA Parli Pro teams who will be competing in Moscow Friday. 

Track athletes ...for those of you who are not still involved in boy's basketball, we will start track practice on Friday at 3:30. Wear warm clothes and make sure you have your paperwork all in place. Interim, physical (if you are a freshman or Junior, you need one), and the pay-to-participate. Shelly has the forms in the office!

Rachel's first "Called to Serve" project will be in Lewiston this Saturday, 2/28 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. If you have any questions see Rachel or find her contact information at the office. 

The After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:
Monday 2/23: Mrs. Bechtel's Classroom
Tuesday 2/24Mrs. Tilleman's  Classroom
Wednesday 2/25: Mrs. Booth's Classroom
Thursday 2/26: Mrs. Sperber's Classroom
