Baseball/Softball Opportunities
It’s time for Cal Ripken baseball and Junior/Senior softball in Genesee!!
Cal Ripken forms will be out in backpacks this week; players ages 8-10 as of April 30 will play
Minors, and your contact is Nate Owen at idahoduckhunter@gmail.com. Majors are ages 11-12 as of
April 30; your contact is Jay Meyer at jjmeyer@idaho.net. All Cal Ripken forms (majors and minors) should be given to Cameron Meyer in 5th grade.
Junior softball is for grades 3-5 and your contact is Tammy Stout at dtstout@frontier.com.
Senior softball is for grades 6-8 and your contact is Marnie Zenner at toothchick@genesee-id.com.
Softball forms went out in the backpacks 2 weeks ago, and the registration is all online. Please contact either Tammy or Marnie ASAP if you want to play on a Genesee team.

Hard work did not prevail last night for the Boys Basketball team who played against Lapwai at the LCSC Activities Center last night. Their next game will be Tuesday, February 24th at 5:45 vs Kamiah.
Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team who qualified for the State Tournament by defeating Notus in McCall on Saturday. The Girls will first meet Raft River on Today at 12:15 (local time) at Columbia High School in Nampa.
FFA members please remember to get your Pitchfork Fondue tickets sold by Friday.
The After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:
Monday 2/16: None
Tuesday 2/17: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom
Wednesday 2/18: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom
Thursday 2/19: Mrs. Booth's Classroom
