Book Fair  


Mon. 11/3 8:00 am - 7:30 pm:    Preview Day - watch for wish lists coming home with your students today!
Tues. 11/4 7:30 am - 7:30 pm:  GRAND Lunch 10:45-12:30; and remember to vote!
Wed. 11/5  7:30 am - 7:30 pm:  Try the book fair this evening for some peaceful early Christmas shopping.
Thurs. 11/6 7:30 am - 7:30 pm:  Supervised activities at book fair for students while parents/guardians have conferences. Open until volley ball games are over, as well. 
Fri. 11/7 7:30 am - 4:00 pm:  LAST DAY. No School. Conference activities will be available, same as Thursday night.  Or come alonefor quiet shopping time. There will be a Coin War for the "All For Books Campaign": Knights vs. Damsels.  Send spare change by Wednesday! Battle for who goes first in the lunch line on Thursday - Boys or Girls?!?

For students in 3rd - 6th grade who are more serious about singing, we will meet tomorrow from 3:20 - 4:20 in the Music Room.


Parent Teacher Conferences


There will be no school for students this Friday, November 7, due to parent teacher conferences. School will resume Monday, November 10 at 8:00 a.m.


Clothing Exchange


Please stop in after your conference to drop, swap or shop for free clothing items. Get rid of what you can't use and take home something you can. The clothing exchange will be Thursday, November 6 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Friday, November 7 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m at the school. Donations will be accepted November 3-6. Please bring your clean, gently used clothing items to the school multipurpose room.  


Save the Date


Come watch The LC Pea Shooters (featuring local community members) vs. The Harlem Ambassadors basketball teams play at Memorial Gym on the University of Idaho campus on Wednesday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and can be purchased in the HS office. This event is a fundraiser for LCYAC. Local community members Doug Stout, Lee Tilleman and Brandon McIntosh will be representing Genesee for The LC Pea Shooters!



BMac Sports Basketball Clinics


Hosted by Brandon McIntosh, Genesee High School Girls Basketball Coach
Where: Genesee High School Gyms, Genesee, Idaho
When: Sundays (visit bmacsports.webs.com for future dates and fundamental focus)
Fall/Winter clinic schedule is listed at bmacsports.webs.com.
Who: Grades: 3-5 and 6-8 Boys and Girls
Times: 5:00-6:30 pm (all at same time)
Each clinic will focus on different areas of basketball fundamental development:
Ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, post play, and defense
Cost: Genesee resident $5 non-residents $8 (each clinic attended)
BRING YOUR FAVORITE BASKETBALL IF YOU HAVE ONE.
Must register for each clinic session interested in attending. Registration form only needs to be filled out prior to the first clinic attended. Fee is due before start of each clinic. Pre-registration or registration day of clinic is acceptable. Fall/Winter Clinic dates: All Sunday evenings. Visit bmacsports.webs.com for updates and cancellations. Dates: November 16 and 30; December 7 and 21



Jr. High/High School News


 Congratulation to the Volleyball team who finished second at the 1A D1 State Tournament over the weekend, we are proud of you!

Congratulations to the Football team who defeated Idaho City on Saturday. The Bulldogs will now play at Raft River High School (in Malta, Idaho) at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8. Good luck Bulldogs!

Activity Period today: check in with your Color Group Advisor and then go to your job alike group.

Good luck to the JH Volleyball team as they travel to Deary to play tonight beginning at 5:30.

Next Safe & Sober Meeting will be this Wednesday, November 5 in Michelle Sperber’s classroom at 7:00 p.m.

The first PRIDE assembly of the year will be this Thursday at 11:30 in the main gym.

Thursday is Give Back Day! Check in to your 5th hour class and then report to your job alike group. Teachers will have a list of students and duties.

Book fair needs Jr/Sr High students on Thursday afternoon and evening 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm . We have activities going on for families who need a place for their kiddos to be while they attend conferences and we need to have helpers with those activities. Come for a couple hours or come for the whole time. This would count as community service hours for anyone who needs them. Please stop by book fair and sign up.
 
The After School Program for JH/HS students is an opportunity for students to complete their work and receive additional assistance. It will run from 3:25-4:25 in the following locations:
Monday 11/3: Mrs. Bardwell's Classroom
Tuesday 11/4: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter
Wednesday 11/5: Mrs. Tilleman's Classroom with Mr. Scripter
Thursday 11/6: No Study Hall: Parent/Teacher Conferences
