Back-to-School Night

Tonight is Back-to-School night for grades 3-12. The doors will be open from 5:30-7pm, so please plan to stop by and meet your student’s teachers. There will also be a meeting for parents explaining dual credit opportunities for high school students from 6:30-7:00 in the multi purpose room.

Picture Day

Individual and class pictures will be taken Thursday, Sept. 6th.

Bulldog Booster Club

The annual Genesee Bulldog Booster Membership Drive and Barbecue will be held at the first home football game September 7th at 5:30 p.m. with the game against Prairie starting at 7 p.m.  Membership dues this year are $40.00 and will get you dinner for the night and your name in our high school foyer as being one of our booster supporters!  We will also have a table of sale items from last year, including last year's (and hopefully this year's) Booster posters!  We will also be taking pre-paid orders for new items to show your BULLDOG SPIRIT AND PRIDE!  Please come and join in on the fun- filled BULLDOG FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!

Attention Bulldog families:  This will be our last year for the Bulldog Boosters if we are not able to recruit new board members!  We have posted this announcement in hopes of recruiting some new young families to take over this awesome group!  It is with great sadness that we are doing this but a few people can no longer keep it up!  Please contact Darrell or Kim Stout if you are interested in joining our board so we can explain the duties for those of you who may want to take over this very worthwhile and supportive group for our kids!!  Boosters give greatly needed funds for our kid's extra curricular activities! We also need Booster Members to help with the upcoming barbecue!  Please show up at 5:00 on the evening of Friday, September 7 at the football field if you can help!  Thanks for your past and continued support!  The kids truly appreciate it!

Presentation

Carl Jensen and Jesse Ford will be giving a public presentation next Sunday, September 9, about their recently completed motorcycle journey through North, Central and South America. There is no charge for the event, but donations will be accepted on behalf of schools in Cambodia and Belize, with which Carl and Jesse have become involved. The approximately one hour presentation begins at 6:00 pm in the Genesee High School multi-purpose room and will include a talk about the trip, information about the two schools receiving your generous donations, and a brief question-and-answer session. Latin American-inspired finger foods will be available when the doors open at 5:30.
