BOOSTER CLUB NEWS
Congratulations to Mr. Gunnar Knecht who was selected as the Booster Club Student of the month for December!! The Booster Club encourages you to nominate students you feel would be good candidates to receive this award. The students can be Jr High or High School students. This award does not recognize athletic achievement only, but overall citizenship. The nomination forms are available at the school district website under the Booster Club link.
GES Singers
GES singers will meet today at the regular time from 3:20 to 4:20. NEXT WEEK, GES singers will meet on WEDNESDAY from 3?20 to 4:20. **PLEASE note the change of day as Mr. Caldwell will be out of town on Tuesday. Thank you.
JR/SR High School News
1.) FOUND: Found before Christmas Break. Set of headphones left in the secondary lab. Please come to the High School Office to identify and claim.
2.) Good Luck this evening to both the Boys and Girls Basketball teams as everyone is traveling! The boys are headed to Prairie and the Girls to Lapwai. Boys action begins at 6:00 with the JV game and the girls will play at 7:00. Good luck!
3.) Varnish players: there is a required refereeing clinic for all players. This clinic has been scheduled for Jan 29 at the school from 2 to 4:30 pm. Plan on being there. See Mr. Crowley with any questions.
4.)For Junior girls interested in participating in the Jr. Miss program this year, there is going to be a quick meeting during activity period TODAY, January 11, in the Commons. There is also going to be an informational meeting for parents and Junior girls on Sunday, January 16, at 1PM, in the Points of View apartment. If you have any questions, please call Wendy at 285-0198 or Erika at 285-1017.
5.)Varsity Volleyball players numbered 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8 plus anyone who still has spandex and/or jackets – get your uniforms to Coach C. ASAP.

8.)WINTER BALL is scheduled for Friday evening, January 28th from 9:00 p.m. to midnight in the High School Commons. The cost is $6 each if pre-paid, and $8 at the door. You can pay Shannon or Becky in the High School Office and your name will be added to the pre-paid list. The deadline for pre-payment is end of day on Wednesday, January 26th. *That is also the deadline to sign-up all non GHS High School Student guests.
