TOMORROW, December 10th is a Collaboration Day for staff and there will be NO SCHOOL for students. Additionally, Friday December 17th, the last day of school before Winter Break, is a regular school day and is NOT Early Release. Winter Break for Genesee Schools will run from December 18th through January 2nd. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning January 3rd.

Genesee Community Elementary Basketball
Students in grades 1-6, if you are interested in participating in the Community Basketball program, information and a registration/permission form went home early last week. Those forms are DUE TO THE OFFICE BY TODAY, December 9th. *This is a FREE program and will run for 6 Saturday mornings after the new year begins. Don't miss your chance to sign-up if you are interested!
Basketball Clinic
The Genesee High School Girls and Boys Basketball teams, along with the Community Basketball League, will be sponsoring a Basketball Clinic over Winter Break. The clinic is open to students in grades 1-6, and the cost is $10. The clinic will be held on Wednesday, December 29th from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Registration/Permission forms (printed on bright gold paper) will be coming home today. Those forms, with payment, are due to the office by Friday, December 17th. *Please make checks payable to GHS. This will be a fun activity for over the break - don't miss out!
