Friday, December 10th is a Collaboration Day for staff and there will be NO SCHOOL for students. Additionally, Friday December 17th, the last day of school before Winter Break, is a regular school day and is NOT Early Release. Winter Break for Genesee Schools will run from December 18th through January 2nd. Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning January 3rd.
Elementary Winter Concerts
Elementary Winter Concerts have changed from their original dates. The K-3 Concert will be on Wednesday, December 8th, and the 4-6 Concert will be on Monday, December 13th.

Genesee Community Elementary Basketball
Students in grades 1-6, if you are interested in participating in the Community Basketball program, information and a registration/permission form went home early last week. Those forms are DUE TO THE OFFICE BY TOMORROW, December 9th. *This is a FREE program and will run for 6 Saturday mornings after the new year begins. Don't miss your chance to sign-up if you are interested!
JR/SR High School News
1.) Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team who claimed victory over Potlatch here at home last night! Way to go Bulldogs!!
2.) High School Students: The Sharing Tree in the Palouse Mall could use a boost. Tags for children in Genesee are red. There are many, many items that even students can afford. A simple shirt, socks, a book, a board game, gloves or a hat would be such welcome gifts for someone who doesn't have them. Please consider helping this worth while cause. If every High School student could satisfy one gift - what a boost to the program that would be! Thanks for your consideration.
3.) Jr./Sr. High Choir Students--please remember to come for a rehearsal from 1:00-2:15pm on Friday.
