FOR YOUR PLANNING PURPOSES
A school year calendar for the 2010-11 school year was mailed to every student household in the district this summer, and it is posted to our website for review as well, but as an additional reminder,FRIDAY, September 17th will be the first scheduled staff collaboration day. This means NO SCHOOL for students. There will be NO Early Release Days this school year with the exception of the very last day of school in June.
Attending the Latah County Fair
If you are an FFA member and will be participating in the Latah County Fair, you need to fill out a pre-arranged absence form and your absences will be marked as field trip. If you participating in the Fair as a 4-H member, this is not a school sanctioned activity and your absences will be marked as Parent Excused, but will count against your total absences for the semester. You still need to fill out a pre-arranged absence form to obtain homework assignments prior to your absence. *As a reminder: With the shorter number of attendance days this school year, the attendance requirements have also changed. Students may not miss more that 8 days a semester or 16 days a year.
