SPRING ISAT TESTING


The Spring ISAT testing schedule has been posted on our main page (www.sd282.org). Parents are encouraged to review the schedule so they might be informed as to when their students are testing. As a remember, proper rest and a good breakfast can help to insure student success. Thank you!

Genesee's Jr. Miss Program


Genesee's Jr. Miss Competition will be held Saturday evening, April 17th beginning at 7:00 p.m. You won't want to miss this year's program and see who will be Genesee's Jr. Miss 2011. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students 12 and under. Participants are Lacey Funke, Tauna Tyler, Tallah Revord, April Broemeling and Rachel Krick. Good Luck Ladies.

School Levy Election


The levy passed yesterday with a 70% margin. Thank you to the Genesee Patrons for your continued support of the Genesee School District and our students!

PTO Meeting


The next PTO meeting will be Wednesday, April 14th, at 7pm in Mrs. Waisanen’s room.

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN PROJECT


Friday will be the last day for loose change donations to the Feed My Starving Children Project. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this worthwhile project to help feed hungry children throughout the world. If you would still like to donate, there is a donation jar in the High School Office, but please bring all donations by end of day Friday. Thank you!

Genesee Baseball/Softball Association Meeting


There will be a recreational baseball/softball informational meeting and registration on Wednesday evening, April 14th from 7:00 to 7:30 at the High School in Mrs. Sperber's Classroom. Parents and athletes encouraged to attend. For more information call Tig Cornell at 208-310-6500. *Girls Fastpitch Jrs. are grades 3-5 and Fastpitch Srs. are grades 6-8.

JR/SR High School News


1.) Congratulations to the Jr. High Boys Basketball teams who wrapped up their season last night with double wins. Nice job guys!

2.) Congratulations to the Softball Team who claimed a decided victory over Kendrick last night in Lewiston. Nice job ladies!

3.) NID Livestock and Horse Judging in Asotin on April 23rd. Sign-up before this Friday in the ag shop.

4.) Forestry and Ag Mechanics Sign-up in the Ag shop. 2 Jr-high and 2 Sr-high teams. Need to sign-up by this Friday.

REMINDER: The Elementary After School Study Hall is a program for students to work on class assignments and homework. Once the work is complete, students are excused to go home. There are no “activities” for students to be involved in, as this is NOT an after school child care program. Thank you.
